B. ETIQUETTE
1. Sportsmanship is non-negotiable.
2. Common sense and integrity reduces rules.
3. Please do not borrow; bring your own or rent.
4. No smoking inside building.
5. No eating or drinking while racing or marshalling.
6. Have fun but always be respectful.
C. FEES AND PRIZES
1. Entry fees only cover running costs.
2. Prizes will be awarded as and when provided by sponsors.
D. RACING PRINCIPLES
1. Every driver is allowed 1 reserve car per class race.
2. Cars may not be worked on while in the Technical Park.
3. Cars may be worked on during lane changes, but this will not delay the next session. Such cars may again be selected for Technical inspection before re-joining the race.
4. Any crash damage taking a car out of spec must be repaired immediately.
5. Lane rotation is controlled by the timing system and allows everyone to race on all lanes.
6. The number of laps completed will always be the result of the timing system. Any lap corrections will be at the discretion of the Race Director.
7. Any problems with the timing system will be confirmed by the Race Director, and once repaired, that segment will be re-run.
E. RACE DIRECTOR AND TECHNICAL OFFICER
1. A Race Director and Technical Officer will be appointed at the start of the race meeting.
2. The Race Director is responsible for starting, stopping and re-starting a race.
3. The Technical Officer is responsible for the technical inspection of all cars except his own.
4. The Race Director will also act as stand-in Technical Officer.
F. MARSHALLING (crash-and-run)
1. When a car de-slots the responsible driver will do his/her own marshalling.
2. When a car de-slots the responsible driver must shout CRASH as warning and immediately remove his/her car. The other drivers must all slow down but do not have to stop unless blocked.
3. If a de-slotted car causes any other car(s) to also de-slot the offending driver must first replace these in the order they were impeded before replacing his own car.
4. A de-slotted car must be replaced where it left the track, or if on a corner then on the straight section immediately following.
5. After repairs to a car it may be replaced on the track at the driving post.
G. RACE PROCEDURE
1. Precedes the first heat of the first race.
2. Practice is broken into 5 minute sections after each of which drivers change lanes.
1. All cars to be presented to Technical Officer during or immediately after General Practice.
2. Cars will be checked against all Class and Specifications rules.
4. Approved cars will be stored in the Technical Park until race time.
5. All non-legal cars will be returned immediately and entrants will have the opportunity to correct and resubmit even until after a race stage has commenced.
6. The Technical Park is closed to everyone until race time.
7. No race stage will be delayed to accommodate repairs or re-inspections.
8. Cars may be randomly checked at any time in a segment.
1. Lane placement is determined by the timing system.
2. The race format will be round-robin heats, rotating through all lanes.
3. Between heats drivers will have a rest period to change lanes and do warm-up laps.
4. Finishing positions are determined by the total number of laps completed in all 4 heats.
H. CLASSES
1. A class is a grouping of race entries based on any or all of the following; technical parameters; manufacturer, body shape or driver age or experience.
2. Classes as from 1 January 2026:
(a) Stock
(b) Expert
I. SPECIFICATIONS
General All Classes:
1. All cars to be 1/32 scale
2. Rear tire treatment is allowed.
3. No track glue will be used.
4. Wings and mirrors are optional.
5. Body may be lightened but must retain original visual appearance.
6. Chassis may be lightened.
7. The driver is at all times responsible for the legality of his/her car.
1. Stock Class
(a) Any commercially sold hardbody cars (excluding F1) from the following makes; Carrera, Fly, Flyslot, GB Tracks, Ninco, Pioneer, Scalextric and SCX. (b) Consult with TSR about other makes.
(c) Tires is the only upgrade allowed.
(d) This class is meant for newcomers or members with no time for building or tuning cars.
2. Expert Class
(a) Complete original or mix-and-match of the following:
1. Chassis: Any commercially sold hardbody chassis.
2. Body:
(i) Sport (prototype 2-seater): Unrestricted.
(ii) GT (production 2-seater): Unrestricted.
(iii) Touring (production 4-seater): Unrestricted.
3. Interior: Unrestricted material, but must show driver's head, shoulders, arms and steering wheel in 3D.
4. Motor: Long Can 21500 rpm or Short Can 26000 rpm.
5. Gears: Unrestricted.
6. Wheels: Unrestricted.
7. Tires: Unrestricted.
8. Weight: Unrestricted.
9. Magnets: Not allowed.
(b) Stock JK C1 RTR car.
(c) TSR Rental Parma Int32.
J. PENALTIES
1. Using an illegal car or parts in a race: Disqualification.
2. Deadline for protests is 5 minutes after each stage.
K. TSR CHAMPIONSHIPS
1. Points are allocated to the top 10 positions in each class race.
2. Total points earned in all classes count for the club driver championship.
3. Points are awarded as follows: 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1.
1. Membership is a prerequisite for taking part in TSR races.
3. Membership fees are included in race fees, but can also be paid up front as a reduced annual fee.
Requests for rule changes or additions can be submitted throughout the year, and will be addressed by an annual November survey.
